Hi, I’m Joan. My journey to well-being began in childhood. Growing up with asthma, I found freedom and healing in movement—hiking, biking, swimming, and skiing, all of which helped strengthen my lungs and sparked a lifelong connection to nature, which continues to ground and inspire me. That early connection to breath eventually led me to yoga and mindfulness, deepening my awareness of the mind-body connection.
Over time, personal challenges—including periods of depression—taught me the transformative power of vulnerability, self-awareness, and emotional honesty. My curiosity about healing and human experience led me to study various cultural approaches to well-being.
Food and family also shaped my values—teaching me that nourishment is about more than just meals; it’s about care, connection, and community. Today, I hold space for others to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect—with nature, with truth, and with themselves on their well-being journey. If you’re looking for grounded, compassionate guidance on your own path to wholeness, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
